Reservations
A block of rooms has been reserved for the
progress review on a first-come, first-served basis. Call the Holiday Inn
on the Bay directly at 619-232-3861 or toll-free at 800-877-8920 to make
your reservations. When calling for reservations, you must tell them that
you are with the Silverleaf Whitefly Conference in order to receive
the group rate. To guarantee a reservation, you will need to provide a
credit card number or advance deposit in the amount of one night's room
and tax charges (to be applied to the last night of the reservation). Hotel
check-in is 3 p.m. and check-out time is noon.
Rates
A group rate of $99.00/single or double
occupancy (plus tax) has been established for the progress review. This is the government per diem and could be increase should this rate be increase before the start of the conference. For
each additional person (over two) occupying the same room, a daily charge
of $15.00 applies. Guaranteed by view rooms are an additional $20 based upon availabilty. One-bedroom suites are $250 plus tax, two bedrooms suites are $350 plus tax. The
Deadline
The hotel reservation cut-off date is January
11, 2001. Any reservations received after that date will be taken on
an availability basis and the group rate will not be guaranteed.
Cancellations
Individuals needing to cancel must do so
72 hours prior to their arrival in order to avoid a cancellation charge.
Parking
Hotel parking for registered guests is currently
$13.00 per 24-hour period, with in/out privileges. Guests attending the
conference but not staying overnight at the hotel must pay the regular
rate as posted. This rate is subject to change.
Shuttle
Service
Shuttle service to and from the airport is
provided by the hotel. Ask for information when calling for reservations.
